If you are a choir director, a music teacher, a church musician or a choir singer who wants to develop his/her gospel skills, Stockholm Gospel has a workshop for you. These programs include theoretical and practical workshops, as well as concerts and time to meet not only colleagues, but also many international guest directors.
The Stockholm Gospel Training Workshops develop from year to year. In August 2010, for the first time, Stockholm Gospel offered workshops in a sequence, providing participants with more time to work on their chosen subject.
As an example, the 2010 Workshops offered were the following:
I) Gospel Start
This workshop provided participants with the tools necessary to start a gospel choir or to apply gospel music to their existing choirs. Participants worked on six songs from the then newly produced GospelStart material. They trained their song teaching, interpretation, piano accompaniment and choir conducting skills to the extent that they felt confident in their role when they went home.
II) Next Level : Gospel 2.0
A workshop for those who had been working with gospel for a period of time and wanted to develop further. They got motivation and new ideas that can be applied to their gospel work and also serve to fill up their daily routine with energy!
During the workshops participants met inspiring instructors to deepen their understanding of topics such as,
III) Next Level : Instrument

Participants worked on their chosen instrument throughout the whole program. Each workshop was held as a master class, however, with the chance to practice the chosen instrument.
