More than An Ordinary Festival

The Stockholm Gospel Choir Festival was born in 1988 as the first gospel choir festival organized in Sweden ever, including both concerts and workshops for all participants to take part in. Through the years the festival grew with choirs joining from all over Europe and in the summer of 2010 it turned international!

Gospel music is about bringing people together. Therefore, the activities of the Stockholm International Gospel Choir Festival are thought of, on one hand, to bring singers together -through mass choirs and workshops- and, on the other, to bring gospel singers and the audience together -through concerts.

Being part of the Stockholm International Gospel Choir Festival gives participants access to the following activities:

- rehearsals with all international participating choirs;

- performance as part of a mass choir and possibility to perform as an individual choir;

- choice of workshops;

- access to other Stockholm Gospel concerts at a special price;

- free access to other gospel related activities;

- sharing and being enriched by experiences from people from all over the world; and

- experiencing the amazing city of Stockholm.

The Festival is held every two years. English is the main spoken language.

Come to Stockholm and experience how gospel unites; come and be enriched by a multitude. This is a festival not to be missed!
